Bathroom storage Keep your bathroom clean and tidy with smart storage solutions that are colleague and client-friendly. Prioritise Put small, loose items in boxes and keep them on shelves and cabinets. Out of sight Keep frequently used items at the front of a wall cabinet between waist height and eye level. Bulkier items should be kept on lower shelves. Out of the way Install wall-mounted shelves over your sink or toilet to free up floor space. Look up Fit an unused corner space with a narrow, high cabinet with adjustable shelves that can be changed to suit your needs. Cover up If your waste baskets are always overflowing, consider sizing up, or doubling up. Waste baskets with lids are always a tidier option, especially if clients are visiting. Waste not Keep a laundry hamper in your bathroom to reduce the clutter if dirty towels. Buddy systemt If you intend to have more than 1 bathroom, think about whether you have a common handwashing area to be shared between 2 cubicles or it's 2 separate rooms. What about kids or the handicapped? Add colours A bathroom can also show personality with a coordinated use of textiles, plants and even pictures. |
