Child-friendly waiting Keeping children occupied, not only keeps their parents calm but encourages them both to come again. Safety Make sure there are no sharp edges and corners at eye level of the little ones. Secure all freestanding shelves and storage system to the wall to avoid tipping. Keep toys and soft toy animals in crates or boxes at lower levels. Do NOT put toys at the top shelf as children may try to climb the furniture to reach them. Prioritise Figure out the age group of the children that your business has to care for. Then take it from there. Multi-purpose space Turn a corner of waiting room into a playroom and populate it with games and activities suitable for their age range. Fun seating Choose child-friendly seating that is fun to look at and can be moved quickly and easily. Small and large pillows, bean bags and inflatable cushions are perfect for this. Keep them occupied Colorful toys stimulate kids’ senses and encourage play and movement. Building blocks with your children stimulate their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Clear up Pique youthful curiosity by helping your kids explore and discover the natural world. Choosing child-friendly plants and colourful fish displays are two ideas that work great in a reception area. Keep it tidy Store toys in large and sturdy lidded box that (with a pillow) can double as a seat or drawing surface for budding artists. Little people will have fun rummaging in the box to play with their old favourites or see what’s new every visit. |
